Paintings
The underground/foreground paintings were created in March 2022 shortly after Russia invaded Ukrain. The underground becomes a place of refuge deep inside the earth during wartime. This womb-like sanctuary inside the Mother of us all, is painted with a raw and fleshy womb-like orange contrasted with the homesick black of displacement.
